Ox Ridge can guide you on your path to reaching your goals. We strive to develop riders of all ages and abilities into knowledgeable and successful horsemen and horsewomen and to make horseback riding exciting, challenging and fun. Hunters, Jumpers & EquitationWhether you are boarding your own horse at Ox Ridge or enjoying a lesson on one of the club-owned horses, you will receive private or group instruction in hunter, jumper and equitation. Our instructors are a group of talented professionals who have expertise in each of the riding disciplines.
A focus on discipline, responsibility and personal growth are the essential ingredients of our program. We encourage our riders to seek the highest level of horsemanship and sportsmanship and strive to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth. The staff takes pride in their commitment to horse care, education and a strong belief in teamwork. Many of our members focus on showing and competing at horse shows both locally and nationally. With this in mind, the trainers concentrate on each rider's individual goals and skill level in the hope of ultimately producing an effective rider and showman.
Ox Ridge members and trainers are active in the showing circuit and compete annually in Florida during the winter months. They also compete at various shows throughout the year including Vermont Summer Festival, Lake Placid Horse Show, The Devon Horse Show, and H.I.T.S. at Saugerties as well as other local shows. We offer up to three trial lessons in one month for riders to see if the Ox Ridge program is right for them. Contact us to learn more.
