Ox Ridge riders win in Florida, New York
Our Ox Ridge riders participate in the 13-week-long Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Fl., which runs through early April. Our riders have earned top marks in the competition, which draws equestrians from around the world. Others have earned prizes in local shows such as Old Salem Farm and Fairfield County Hunt Club.
Ox Ridge riders earn top marks at Summer shows
Ox Ridge Riding had a busy and successful summer show circuit, including shows in Saratoga Springs, Traverse City, Princeton, Saugerties, Southampton and Lexington, Kentucky.
Summer highlights include:
Eva Mackenzie: Champion and Reserve Champion, USHJA Jr/Am Hunter Derby Regional Championship (North) on Demonia GS Z and Iladin du Rouet; 4th overall, 3’6 Junior hunter 15U at USEF Junior Hunter Finals on Iladin du Rouet; Winner of the Hamel NHS medal at Princeton Classic Encore and Hampton Classic on Demonia GS Z; Winner of the USHJA Jumping seat medal at Hampton Classic on Demonia GS Z.
Isabelle Castellanos: Champion, Small pony hunter on Old School at Upperville; Champion and Reserve Champion, Small pony hunter at GLEF 1 on Old School and Smash; Champion, Small pony hunter at Princeton Classic Encore on Old School.
Georgina Arakelian: Classic winner and Reserve Champion, 3’3 Junior hunters at Princeton Summer Classic on Cloney’s Pleasure
Chrysopylae Locke Youngman: Winner of WIHS and USEF pony medals at Princeton horse show. Reserve Champion on Royal Chaperone and Captain America at Saratoga horse show.
Maddie O’Hara: Winner, 3’3 Junior hunter classic at Traverse City Spring Horse Show on Perseus YZ
Hayley Hewitt: Champion, 3’3 Small junior hunter, GLEF 2 on Aerin Genatt’s Chantilly; Winner, USHJA Hunt seat medal and THIS medal, Princeton Classic Encore on Shea Ehrhard’s Fifth Avenue
Isla Roen: Champion, Low children’s hunter at Princeton Summer Classic on Blue Moon
