Equestrian Sports at Ox Ridge Riding & Racquet Club

Ox Ridge operates with a full complement of world-class hunt seat equestrian trainers specializing in equitation, hunters and jumpers.  Grooms are charged with daily care for member-owned and club-owned horses.

Most members own or lease their horse, and typically ride five to six days a week. Members participate in regional horse shows as well as shows in areas such as Wellington, Florida, Lake Placid, New York, Traverse City, Michigan and various East Coast National Finals. For member riders who do not own or lease their horse, the Club’s complement of “school horses” are available for riding, training lessons and showing through the Club’s Riding Academy Program.

New Riding Facilities
A state-of-the-art heated indoor ring (130’ x 250’) for riding in winter months and inclement weather is now complete with kickboards and a viewing area to accommodate 30 people. The fully renovated stables provide housing for over 50 horses. The stable features integrated wash stalls and a treadmill for exercising horses.

The three new outdoor riding rings feature high performance footing. Twelve paddocks are available for horse turnout, grazing and relaxing.
